A mechanical metronom in an autarkic symbiosis with its own gear unit performes a pulse of which the frequency is defined only by the attempt of approximating total continuity.
The pendulum is indirectly driven by the attached pacemaker. It forces the rhythm to go on, negating the original nature of the machine. Time is being divided whithout the knowledge of future or past. The single unit repeats over and over in mantra-like regular meditation.
