A rocking cradle-like rack, made out of stainless steel has a glas tank sitting on top. There is liquid in the tank, a thin strand of human hair, metal electrodes and cables connecting them. Electricity is running through cables, electrodes, through the liquid and the hair.

In this galvanic bath, the liquid is charged with gold and gold molecules are transferred onto the hair strand using electric power.

After a while the strand of human hair will be covered and coated with gold.
